Avant-garde Kyiv Fest. 100 років АРМУ.

Avant-garde Kyiv Fest. 100 Years of ARMU (Association of Revolutionary Art of Ukraine). Oleksandr Bohomazov and Mykola Hlushchenko.
Museum of Kyiv History and its branch, the Museum of the Avant-Garde, present an exhibition project featuring works by members of the Association of Revolutionary Art of Ukraine – artists Oleksandr Bohomazov and Mykola Hlushchenko. The exhibition will include items from the collection of Museum of Kyiv History as well as unique works by the artists from private collections, a significant part of which will be presented to the general public for the first time. Visitors will also be presented with the multimedia project “100 Years of ARMU”, which introduces the activities of the world’s largest multidisciplinary artistic association of avant-gardists.

The presentation of the exhibition will mark the beginning of the large-scale art festival Avant-garde Kyiv Fest, the main theme of which this year is the 100th anniversary of the Association of Revolutionary Art of Ukraine. The festival is held with the support of the Department of Culture of the Kyiv City State Administration and brings together various cultural institutions of the capital. During October–December 2025, these locations will host exhibition, scholarly, and educational projects dedicated to the origins, emergence, and development of avant-garde art and to the special role of the Association of Revolutionary Art of Ukraine in these processes.
