The Largest Museum Association in the Capital
The Museum of the History of Kyiv was founded on November 14, 1978, and opened in 1979. It presents a wide range of historical, artistic, and educational projects, as well as various aspects of the city’s history, literature, science, art, and social and political life.
Since June 6, 2012, the museum has been located near Teatralna metro station at 7 Bohdana Khmelnytskoho Street, where it resumed its exhibition activities and now operates as a Museum and Exhibition Center.
