Since 1999, this branch of the Museum of the History of Kyiv has been called the “Kyiv Museum of O.S. Pushkin”. On March 1, 2022, an order was signed, according to which it was decided to shift the focus of the Museum to one that more closely matches the content of the collection. This is a Museum that would tell the story of Kyiv life in the first half of the 19th century, which was also reflected in the working name of the branch. After a long work of the team on a new concept, the Academic Council of the Museum approved a new name – “Manor House on Kudryavka”.
Currently, the Museum team is working on developing the structure and filling the new exhibition, and partial repair and restoration work is underway, which is urgently needed by the Museum premises, which, let us recall, is an architectural monument.
The opening of a new exhibition in the estate at 9 Kudryavska Street will be an extraordinary event. Currently, the branch of the Museum of the History of Kyiv has resumed work and is presenting temporary exhibitions.
