The Third Ukrainian Biennale of Digital and Media Art – UBiennale 2025 “Field of Memory. Time of Restoration”

This is a space for artistic reflection, where contemporary art and new technologies (augmented reality, virtual reality, and artificial intelligence) engage with themes of memory and revival, the interaction between humans and nature, and the struggle for the right to exist and create the future.

This year’s program features over 30 works from 15 countries, combining video and sound art, AR/VR/MR, generative and data projects, interactive and kinetic installations, and performative practices. Visitors can experience a powerful selection of works that have already been shown abroad and are now appearing in Kyiv for the first time.

Among them:

  • The project “Mavkas. Camouflage” — a mystical and at the same time painfully contemporary vision by Olena Hrom
  • Video installation by Dmytro Hreshko, created from materials of the film “Divia,” previously shown at the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival
  • Virtual costumes by Yulia Ovcharuk, which can be “tried on” via smartphone and TikTok
  • The work of Serhii Petliuk, which constantly prompts questions about humanity in the digital world
  • Installation by Veronika Cherednichenko, balancing between tenderness and anxiety
  • Project by Oleh Kharch about Elon Musk and Chernobyl — a combination of global myths and our local history

These are not just works; they are a mirror in which we see contemporary Ukraine — brave, experimental, and able to speak on equal terms with the world. We invite you to join!
