We invite you to the exhibition VOICES – the multimedia space of the “Voices of the Peaceful” Museum of the Rinat Akhmetov Foundation, featuring an art installation by the creators of GOGOLFEST.
The exhibition aims to reveal the depth and strength of the living stories of peaceful Ukrainians about the War.
The multimedia space provides an opportunity to immerse yourself in these stories, becoming an active participant in the exhibition. Video, audio, and physical art objects create a unified space to convey, on one hand, the tragedy of the War, and on the other – the strength and dignity of people who endured despite the horrors.
Since 2014, the “Voices of the Peaceful” Museum has collected 100,000 stories about the War. These are the stories of peaceful people and of the entire Ukrainian nation. True, living VOICES that resonate together, so that they can be heard by the world.
The exhibition includes a sound installation with immersive five-channel audio by composer Yana Shlyabanska. The acting ensemble “Dakh Trio” created a poetic-musical composition. The video sequence consists of a unique compilation of documentary footage, animation, and video art. The exhibition also features real wartime artifacts collected and preserved by the Museum.
The multimedia space is realized in partnership with the Museum of Kyiv History.
VOICES is an exhibition that immerses visitors in stories of the War, told through the voices of peaceful people. We invite you to hear them together.
