“Helmet of Memory. Continuation of the Story”

Today at the Museum of Kyiv History, Ukrainian skeleton athlete Vladyslav Heraskevych presented the project “Helmet of Memory. Continuation of the Story.”

This is not just a sports helmet — it is a symbol of memory for 22 Mariupol athletes, including 8 children, whose lives were taken by Russia’s war against Ukraine. Their faces on the helmet were recreated by artist Iryna Prots.

Each story reminds us of the price Ukraine pays.
Each face is a memory we have no right to lose.

“Helmet of the Memory. Continuation of the Story” will be held at the Museum of Kyiv History for one week.
