Lecturer: Zoia Stashuk, Honored Master of Folk Art of Ukraine, member of the National Union of Folk Art Masters of Ukraine, a renowned researcher and popularizer of the Ukrainian pysanka.
Ms. Zoia has devoted many years to studying traditional pysanka-making, the symbolism of ornaments, and painting techniques. Her works are known in Ukraine and abroad, and her original research helps to better understand the sacred meaning of the Ukrainian pysanka as a cultural code of the nation.
